Cattails Studio pairs expressive script lettering with a simple botanical motif. The sweeping wordmark and upright cattail stems create an organic identity, while the smaller studio lettering adds a quiet, structured finishing touch.
The stationery presentation concept places the logo on warm cream cards and a dark envelope, showing how a single-colour identity can carry across contrasting paper tones. The original logo artwork below keeps the mark itself in focus.
The Design
An identity rooted in its name.
The cattail illustration grows naturally from the lettering, connecting the studio name to a recognisable visual detail. Broad script strokes give the wordmark confidence, balanced by the more delicate plant forms above it.
The original design uses dark artwork on a lightly textured background. Its restrained palette allows the shape and lettering to do the work, creating a cohesive starting point for stationery and other brand applications.
